Matteo Silvestri, aka Ghospthace, was born in 1987, Rome, Italy.
Former drummer, by the age of 18 starts to explore electronic music by djing, discovering artists such as Prodigy, Chemical Brothers and Aphex Twin. Soon after, he moves to music production, approaching noise, glitch music and techno.
In late 2011, with other Roman artists, founds Stochastic Resonance and in the following three
years publishes three tracks, one for each album of the “Trilogy of Numbers”. One of them, “A.K.T”, will be played by many radios and shows including Laurent Garnier’s “It is what it is”.
In 2013 starts building and studying his own modular synth, collecting and creating material that now composes the album Oscillations.
Currently Ghostphace lives between Rome and Berlin.
